Cafe Calaveras | From pop-up to brick-and-mortar!
COMING SOON! ✨ | I'm so excited and honored to be collaborating with a local Seattle Coffee Cafe to produce a three to four part YouTube docuseries centered around community, coffee, and going from pop-up vendor to having their very own brick and mortar!
🎥 Currently in the filming and scripting stage. Stay tuned for all the BTS and the series launch this summer!
Project Timeline & Updates
January 2025 | The idea was born! I almost let imposter syndrome stop me from thinking this project was a possibility. However, I began discovering storyline throughs and how I wanted to approach the possible story and eventually reached out to Clarissa for collaboration. With fingers crossed... she agreed and was enthusiastic about the project!
February 2025 | Bought the proper gear for the project... Canon camera, Rode wireless mics, and tripod!
April 2025 | Finally met on-site with Clarissa and began filming b-roll. Announced the project on social media and received a lot of support from Clarissa and Your Yesler.
May 2025 | Met with Clarissa a few more times to capture painting color and some of the install work for the coffee bar! Posted the first teaser trailer for the documentary. Ending out the month with the first interview with Clarissa and discussing possible timeline for grand opening and how I can assist with content creation.
June 2025 | Objectives for this month: ask Your Yesler and/or Friends of Waterfront Park for an brief interview/recorded statement or two?
